Emotions are a spectrum ranging from painful to euphoric. When we avoid the uncomfortable feelings on one end of the spectrum like anger, sadness, guilt, or disappointment, we also cut off access to the blissful feelings of hope, joy, gratitude, and even wonder. Many of us do not realise this is how emotions work though, so we end up wondering why our existence feels dull and monochrome despite our best efforts not to acknowledge discomfort.
In this workshop we will use EFT ‘tapping’ and some light somatic practices to increase tolerance for the more uncomfortable feelings associated with the human experience so that you can create space for more pleasurable feelings.
